Hi I have bought a few rugby shirts from various companies but I found Olorun to be the best. I had a slight problem with this one as they had written a letter wrongly in my personalisation.
Anyway buy from this company they really have a good customer service. Really interesting design. Looks great from a far and very interesting reading through the club's all over the shirt. Only issue is you get a bit of attention from people tying to find their local club on you. Ideal as light summer wind stopper. Have been ordering from same company for several years. Never disappointed with items received. Always very helpful on the telephone. Just a shame we can only give 5 stars maximum.
This was a very good bargain! As I had recently bought a few shirts from Olorun I had no doubts that this would be a good buy, not disappointed, great shirt. I got it personalised at a very reasonable cost and it was brilliant fast delivery. I highly recommend this company, one of the best and great customer service. Absolutely fantastic to deal with. First up, is it comfortable? Yes it is.
The shirt is nice and smooth and doesn't feel awkward against the skin. The print doesn't have any effect on the feel of the shirt at all, and looks perfectly good all over. The rapid delivery is just the icing on top. One warning, it does tend to attract people when you're out on the town in it, so don't wear this if you want to be Solo.Take rule of the battlefield and time itself.
As the mountains and the seas have their gods, so too do the stars in the heavens. Greatest of their number is Olorun, God of the Sky and the Heavens, and supreme deity of the Yoruba pantheon. It was Olorun who kindled the spark that would become the sun, and at his command, the Orishas — the Yoruba gods — crafted the world and its inhabitants from the gathered dust of the cosmos.
But though Olorun is the greatest of the Orishas, he seeks no worshippers and asks for no offerings, yet entire nations follow his ideals.
Like the stars, he is a remote deity, content to sit in quiet contemplation of the myriad wonders of creation. And he is powerful enough to ensure the sanctity of his solitude. Olorun commands the fundamental forces of the cosmos — even time itself.
Yet despite this power, Olorun is but one part of a greater whole. A tripartite being, Olorun possesses two other aspects — Olodumare, creator of the universe, and Olofi, the conduit between Earth and the Heavens. As befits a being of such might, Olorun is wise beyond measure, and rarely acts rashly or without some greater purpose in mind. Peaceful by nature, he will nonetheless fight when the need is great.
It is for that very reason that Olorun has chosen to break his long seclusion at last. Despite having held himself apart from the world, he has borne witness to the suffering of mortal and immortal alike. With his far-reaching gaze, he has seen that the thrones of the great pantheons are empty, and that god wars against god. During the buff or for 4s after, Olorun can refire this ability to conjure the Sun to damage Enemies in an area. The Sun emits projectiles faster and more randomly with higher ammo.
Olorun and allies are bathed in the light, gaining a heal over time that ticks every second for 5s. For every ally healed, Olorun gains Physical and Magical protections. Sign In. From Smite Wiki. Olorun is outlying, distant, and does not partake in human rituals. There are no shrines or sacrifices dedicated directly to him, although followers can send prayers in his direction. For Yoruba traditions, there is no centralized authority; because of this and the way the traditions were spread through the slave trade to other areas of the world, there are many different ways that Yoruban people and their descendants or orisa-based faiths can understand the idea of Olorun.

Frameworks Scientists in Schools. In the mythology of the Yoruba people of West Africa, Olorun is the most powerful and wisest deity. The all-knowing god takes an active role in the affairs of both heaven and earth. According to Yoruba legend, Olorun was one of two original creator gods.
The other was the goddess Olokun. In the beginning, the universe consisted only of sky and a formless chaos of marshy water. Olorun ruled the sky, while Olokun ruled the vast marshy waters below. There were thousands of other gods, but none had as much knowledge or power as Olorun. Although Olokun was content with her watery kingdom, a lesser god named Obatala had ideas about improving her kingdom. He went to Olorun and suggested the creation of solid land, with fields and forests, hills and valleys, and various living things to populate it.
Olorun agreed that this would be good and gave Obatala permission to create land. Obatala went to Orunmila, the eldest son of Olorun, and asked how he should proceed.
Orunmila told Obatala to gather gold to make a chain that could be lowered from the sky to the waters below. When the chain was finished, Orunmila gave Obatala a snail's shell filled with sand, a white hen, a black cat, and a palm nut. Obatala lowered himself on the chain and poured the sand on the waters. He then released the hen, which scratched at the sand and scattered it in all directions. Anyplace the sand fell became dry land. Stepping onto the land—known as Ife—Obatala built a house, grew palm trees from the palm nut, and lived with the black cat as his companion.
Obatala later became lonely and built clay figures. Olorun made these figures into humans by breathing life into them. Many gods descended from the sky to live on earth, and Olorun told them to listen to the prayers of humans and protect them. Not pleased by these acts of creation, the water goddess Olokun tried to flood the land to regain the area she had lost.
However, Orunmila used his powers to make the waters recede. Angry that the sky god's son had defeated her, Olokun challenged Olorun to a weaving contest to see who was the more powerful. Olokun was a weaver of unequaled skill and knowledge, but every time she made a beautiful cloth, Agemo the chameleon— who carried messages for Olorun—changed the color of its skin to match her weaving.
When Olokun saw that even Olorun's messenger could duplicate her finest cloths, she accepted defeat and acknowledged Olorun as the supreme god. See also African Mythology ; Ile-Ife. Toggle navigation. Also read article about Olorun from Wikipedia.
